This Privacy Policy explains how the Jazz Improviser mobile application handles information. Jazz Improviser is developed and published by Atte Tenkanen.

Information collected by the developer

Jazz Improviser does not require a user account. The developer does not directly collect, store, sell, or share users' names, email addresses, precise locations, contacts, audio recordings, generated melodies, or other personal content through the application.

Melodies and related musical content are generated and processed locally on the user's device. Files are only created or exported when the user chooses to save or share them using device features.

Advertising and Google AdMob

Jazz Improviser displays a small advertising banner provided by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share certain information for advertising, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud-prevention purposes.

This information may include:

• The device's IP address, which may be used to estimate an approximate location.
• Device and account identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other applicable identifiers.
• App interactions, including app launches, ad views, and taps.
• Diagnostic and performance information, such as app launch time, crashes, hangs, and energy usage.

This information is processed by Google under Google's own privacy policies. The developer does not receive information that directly identifies an individual user from AdMob.

Personalized advertising and user choices

Depending on the user's region, device settings, consent choices, and applicable law, Google may provide personalized, non-personalized, or limited advertisements.

Data sharing

The developer does not sell personal information. Information processed through advertising is shared with Google and may be processed by Google's advertising partners as necessary to provide advertising, measurement, security, and fraud-prevention services.

Data security

Jazz Improviser does not operate a developer-controlled server for collecting user information. According to Google, data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS).

Data retention and deletion

Because the developer does not directly collect or store personal user information, the developer does not maintain personal user records that can be deleted.

Information collected by Google AdMob is retained and deleted according to Google's applicable policies and user controls. Users may manage or delete advertising identifiers through their Android device settings.
